Urine: the new fertiliser

Amsterdam has introduced a new system that aims at recycling human urine to fertilise gardens. The compliant citizens will make use of the temprary urinals that have been set up by Waternet (Amsterdam's utility company), who will collect the urine and transform it to struvite which is used as fertilizer. This not only creates a sustainable "Green urine" system, but also assists in sanitisation and boosts food production.
